Maruti Suzuki will soon launch a new electric car e Vitara which has a battery pack of 48.8 kWh and 61.1 kWh. This car produces 144 -174hp and up to 300 nm of torque. The car will come with a front-wheel drive with a single electric motor and an all-wheel drive drivetrain with dual electric motors.

E-Vitara takes only 8.7 seconds to accelerate from 0km to 100km. From the outside, it has a closed-off grille, Y-shaped LED DRLs, LED headlamps, fog lamps, and a chunky blacked-out bumper. On the side, chunky wheel arches and thick plastic body are cladding. Apart from this, there are connected LED tail lamps available at the rear.

The dimensions of this car are 4,275 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,635 mm -1,640 mm in height. In the new E-Vitara 2026, you will see a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25 inches fully digital instrument cluster, eight speakers HARMAN sound system, and a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat.
All its seats are very comfortable, and the front seats are ventilated. It has a fixed panoramic glass roof and also has a boot space of 310 litres. In terms of safety, this car has seven airbags, all-wheel disk brakes, an electronic parking brake, 360 degree camera, level 2 ADAS, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

I estimate its ex-showroom price to be around Rs 17.00 lakh to Rs 25.00 lakh. This car will give tough competition to the Tata Nexon and Creta. This car is expected to be launched on 15 February 2026.
