The new version of the Toyota Fortuner has recently been spotted in a completely wrapped form, although some spy shots confirm that it will definitely have ADAS features. It will have a 360-degree camera and many other features, and will be powered by 2.8-litre diesel and 2.7-litre petrol engines with a 48V mild-hybrid system.

The upcoming Fortuner will feature a split-headlamp design, slim horizontal LED DRLs, and slimmer LED tail lamps. Its interior will also be very good and is expected to have many more features than the current Fortuner. Its interior will feature a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster at the front, and a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system.

For convenience, it will have ventilated front seats, upgraded leatherette upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, multi-zone automatic climate control, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. As I mentioned in the beginning, in terms of safety, it will have Level 2 ADAS along with many features like seven airbags and an electronic parking brake.

The new version will be priced between Rs 35 lakh and Rs 55 lakh. It will compete directly with the MG Gloster, Skoda Kodiaq, and Volkswagen Tayron R-Line. It is estimated that this car will give a mileage of around 10 kmpl to 14.6 kmpl; however, due to the hybrid powertrain, it can give even higher mileage.
