The Volkswagen Tayron will be officially launched in India on February 19, 2026. It is a 7-seater SUV and is powered by a 2.0L TSI EVO Turbo-Petrol engine, which is quite powerful. This engine produces 201 BHP and 320 Nm of torque. It has a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive drivetrain.

The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds and has a top speed of 224 km/h. It gets LED Matrix projector headlamps, connected LED DRLs, an illuminated Volkswagen badge, and a chunky front bumper. There are 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels along with gloss-black wheel arch cladding and connected taillamps at the rear, along with an illuminated rear VW logo and a shark-fin antenna.
Its interior is also expected to be impressive, and it will have a 15-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit, an AR head-up display, 3-zone climate control, a large panoramic sunroof, and a 700 W11-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
For comfort and convenience, it has 12-way power-adjustment front seats, heating, ventilation, 10-point massage function, sliding and reclining rear seats, 30-colour ambient lighting, and a boot space of 345 litres. If the third row seats are folded, the boot space will increase from 345 litres to 850 litres.
This car will have many safety features, such as nine airbags, level 2 ADAS, electronic stability control, multi-collision braking, all-wheel disk brakes, ABS with EBD, and hill start assist and much more. It is to be estimated that the expected starting price of this car is Rs 48.00 Lakh ruppess in india.
